I have some exciting news to share with you! Te Amo Photography has relocated operations to Calgary, Alberta and is now serving both Calgary and Vancouver! If you are looking for a Calgary wedding photographer, read on for a special promotion!
The decision to move to Calgary has, certainly, been a difficult one. After all, picking up a family and a business and leaving such a beautiful place, family, and friends is no small matter! However, I’m convinced that it is the right decision, both for my family, and for Te Amo Photography.
Rather than simply closing operations in Vancouver, Te Amo Photography will be expanding services into Calgary. The proximity of the two cities allows serving both cities to be a realistic and viable option, plus it has the added benefit of allowing me to visit more often than I normally would!

In terms of service, nothing has changed! There will be no additional costs to you. Your wedding will not be outsourced and I will be there in advance of any weddings or photo shoots that have been booked, and you will receive any orders just as quickly through the magic of couriers; shipping is free, of course!

Until June 1, you can take advantage of current pricing. Unfortunately, there are additional expenses associated with serving the Vancouver market, so after June 1, package prices will reflect this additional expense. The great news is that, even with the new pricing, Te Amo Photography remains competitive with Vancouver-based photographers!

Photographers, rather ironically, are some of the least photographed people that I know — myself included! Because we’re often the ones behind the camera, we’re rarely in any photos, that’s why when we get on the other side of the lens, we get a little… awkward! Well, I do at least… We were just goofing around for this photo!
This weekend, several local Vancouver photographers decided to change that and exchange photographs of each other! It was threatening to rain and the strong gusts of wind howled through the narrow corridors of Granville Island. Just the kind of weather Vancouver photographers thrive in! Well, not really, but we weren’t gonna let that stop us!
We had a blast taking turns shooting and posing each other. I loved seeing the different approaches others took and seeing the results. I went home literally sitting by my phone waiting for an email to come saying that my photos are ready — I now totally know how my clients feel!
And, for my part, I couldn’t wait to get to my photos and work on them!

Sara, from SCM Photography. Sara mentioned a few times that she’s probably the biggest whiner when it comes to the cold, but I think she was just trying to make me feel better, because I’m pretty sure I did a lot of complaining about the weather myself!
Stefanie, from Stefanie DeBest Photography. She has the bluest eyes I have ever seen — I had to ask her if she was wearing contacts. Really, they’re that blue. She’s also getting married this summer — Congrats, Stefanie! She also has the unique opportunity to shoot her wedding photographer, Kristina!
Kristina, from Kristina Belkina Photography. She’s Stefanie’s wedding photographer! And… she shot film for this entire session! How awesome is that? See that camera she’s holding? It wasn’t just for show! That little box has our photos in it!
